Pow-R Wrap is a strong, permanent and economical repair, which works on virtually every kind of pipe and hose. It's an easy alternative to traditional methods such as cementing, soldering, welding, sleeving and replacement. Works on wet, dry, clean, dirty or corroded pipes. Even works under water...salt or fresh.

Q. Can the Pow- R Wrap be used on any pipes?

The repairs can be used on all fluid bearing pipes and hoses including; - Potable Water, Steam, Air, Gas, Sewage and Fuel Hydraulics

Q What size pipes does it repair?

The Pow R Wrap is available in 3 kits and can repair pipes up to 25mm, 80mm and 150mm.

Q. What is included in the Pow- R Wrap Kit?

The kit includes, an epoxy resin impregnated fibreglass tape which is activated by immersing in water. Pre measured STIC-O-STEEL epoxy putty. Protective Gloves and easy to following instructions.

Q. How long does the installation take?

Depending on the size, all repairs will take less than 1 hour from preparation to the end result. Preparation approximately 5 -10 min. Installation approximately 15 min, Cure time 30 min (Cure may take longer in dry climates or cold temperatures)

Q. Do I need any tools to install the repair?

No, there are no additional tools required to install the kits. Everything you need is in the Kit !!! Just add Water!

Q. Is the Pow- R Wrap suitable for potable water

Yes the repair meets EPA 601 requirements for drinking water.

Q. Is the Pow- R Wrap temperature resistant?

The Wrap is resistant up to 1197°F/647°C and can withstand temperatures as low as 91°F(-68°C)

Q. What pressure can the repair with stand?

The Pow- R Wrap can with stand 600 PSI. It also has a Flexural Strength of 16,100 PSI, a Tensile Strength of 24,000 PSI and a Compression Strength of 26,600 PSI

Q. Can the Pow- R Wrap be installed submerged in water?

Yes

Q. Is the Pow - R Wrap resistant to chemical?

Yes indeed including diesel fuel, petroleum products, halocarbons and alcohols. See full chemical resistant list enclosed.

Q. Can I paint the finished repair?

Of course. After final cure the repaired area can be sanded and painted if desired.
